Emergency Medicine Certificate Course

The Emergency Medicine Certificate (EMC) is a 6 month training program offered through the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) . The course will provide participants with a broad range of knowledge and skills to meet the demands of basic emergency medicine practice. It focuses on competencies considered essential for a non-specialist doctor working in Emergency Medicine.  .

Applicants can start the program at any time throughout the year but need to be PGY2+ with  at least 10 week (at 1FTE) experience in ED, ACEM EMC application details will link you to the ACEM website for current forms.

Emergency Medicine Diploma Course

The Emergency Medicine Diploma (EMD) is an 18 month competency-based training program that includes 6 months in Anaesthetics and ICU (or 3 months in each).  It consists of online learning modules, workplace based assessments, case reflections and online EMD MCQ exam.
